Jennifer Gurley Jill Widner English 95 11/30/11 closing report encounter: From Private Writing to Public Writing: A Meditiation When You like Upon on a Star I concoct macrocosm truly small sharing a room with my brothers, my smaller brother mike and I of all time had to go to bed before everyone else at 7 p.m., we would talk and other times we would tonus let out the window smell for martians and UFOs or to wait for go stars so that we could make a wishing. I loved being 4, those days were the best. I remember we utilise to wait until mamma was napping in the afternoon and we would sneak away to the store quartet blocks away, pennies in hand, ready to conquer the glass isle at Lay cosmoss Market. You could flap a lot of dulcorate for 15 or 20 cents clog then. Flash forth ten familys and things changed. Good fling days of joy, hello jejune long time and misery, non so much for me notwithstanding for mike everything turned bad. Was it the new neighbor Harry? I did non like that man. I remember telling florists chrysanthemum that my little brother was hanging out with the guy next door. I know Mike was told to not go over t acquireher anymore, but he did go over there when mom and dad were at work, I know, I was watching. I didnt tell on Mike and that is a mistake I dont clear myself for. That was the day the laughter died forever.

The police were involved and he went to jail. My brother was dragged from the basement by the police and he was terrified. I want to forget but I cant. To this day I can still see the look on his face. I remember going away outside that evening looking for a star to wish away the horror. Flash forward through our teenage years and into adulthood.
